Dad, I want your TIME, not your money.

This is just an analogy and we all know that analogies are like cars, at some point they break down!

Remember the kid that had it all?  Ya know the one, his dad bought him everything, just everything, heck you may have envied him.  That kid grew to realize all he really wanted his Dad's time, not his money.

Do you think God looks down on us and says:

Ya know I own it all, I really wanted your time, but you thought the tithes and offerings were enough.

Look at Hebrews 10:5-8, do you see that what was desired was the will of the Father, NOT the material substance of sacrifices and offerings.  Our sacrifice and offering is to do the will of the Father.
